Career Day at the Chem Show:
Keynote: Taking Your Engineering Career to the Next Level + Panel Discussion of Career Strategies and Paths

A Special Afternoon at the Chem Show: From 1-3 pm, come and join our distinguished keynote speaker and panelists in an interactive discussion about their real world experiences in the chemical engineering and other industries. Learn about the many important things that you didn’t learn about in engineering school, and also visit the Chem Show exhibits (from 3-5 pm) and gain first-hand knowledge of the industry. Free for students, who pre-register now.

Keynote: Anthony Fasano, is a Professional Engineer, and author of the book, "Engineer Your Own Success: 7 Key Elements to Creating an Extraordinary Engineering Career". He will discuss key topics from this book. In addition, a panel of young engineers will describe their paths after graduating from engineering school, and how they chose their current career.

The Metro New York Section is participating in the first AIChE Northeast Regional Meeting. Three local sections (Metro New York with the North Jersey and New Jersey Sections) are organizing the Conference on Energy, Safety, and Consulting. This event spans three days (Nov. 1-3), and offers five sessions.
